Football Referees Set For Strike Action In Scotland
by
Steve Goodwin
Football fixtures in Scotland look set to be postponed next weekend after the top referees have voted to take strike action. Referees have made the decision following a meeting on Sunday after they felt disillusioned after an increasing amount of criticism about their performances. The strike is likely to affect the Scottish Premier League and the challenge cup final. Action by other referees could see a complete postponement of all football games in Scotland.

How Soccer Fixtures Change Your Life
by
Fenton Wayne
I support Arsenal Football Club, but this article is not really about them. Just replace Arsenal with your own team and that should suffice. Yes, I am a fan, and I do go to see them at The Emirates Stadium several times a season, but again that's not really the point.

How Heat Hire Is Helping Scottish Football
by
Steve Reeve
British weather is becoming increasingly unpredictable. During winter, it is also becoming increasingly harsh. Heavy snow and ice can create havoc on the roads. It can also cause disruption to a wide range of industries. One particular industry that does not need more disruption at the moment is football; especially in Scotland where bad weather can have a major impact upon whether matches can be held.

Arsenal Football Club - How Long Can Arsenal Stay in the 'Big Four' of the Premier League?
by
Steve Yates
I confess that I have a liking for Arsenal. In fact, of all the so-called 'Big Four' they are probably the one team that I wouldn't mind having to watch every week. They play a lovely, silky game of football and, when they are in full flight, they are probably the nearest thing we have in this country to a team that can match Barcelona.
