Why N95 Masks Are Vital for Industry, Healthcare, and Consumers
by
Andrew Freedman
You may be in a profession where you and the people you work with are at a high risk of inhaling substances or fumes that are very toxic and dangerous to your health. You may be exposed to substances such as blood borne or airborne pathogens that makes it vital that you protect your workers. In fact, there is a law that says you do have to protect your workers. Many companies may claim to have safe face masks, but your best guarantee is to select products that do have the approval seal by the National Institute of Occupational Safety or the Food and Drug Administration. These are your best guarantors that the products you are using will actually prevent you from contracting any pathogens that are near you.

by
Arthur Craig Miller
A vaccine for Bird Flu is not available. A vaccine against SARS has not even been produced, and it's been over two years since SARS first struck. Think about it logically - according to the medical establishment, even a cure for the common cold has eluded medical science. What realistic chance is there for a Bird Flu cure in the near future?

What is an N95 Respirator Mask?
by
Kerry Perissi
Disposable respirator masks have received increased attention as of late with the spread of the H1N1 flu virus, though they have long been used for other purposes including occupational safety. N95 refers to a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) rating that is assigned to masks that meet a specified minimum standard for particle transmission. The N95 respirator mask is designed to filter up to 95% of airborne particles 0.3 microns or larger that may otherwise directly enter the nose and mouth of the wearer.

Breathe Easier With Disposable Face Masks
by
Eli Rutledge
I'm not the kind of person that lives my life in constant worry about germs or that washes my hands 50 times per day. Sure, I'll hit the soap and water after using the restroom or before meals, but other than that, I live by the philosophy that a little dirt never hurt anyone. In fact, being exposed to a variety of germs can actually strengthen your immune system.
