The original trophy for the NBA Championship Finals had been an ornate, oversized silver chalice bestowed upon the winner of each year's NBA Finals champion to be kept for the year until the next year's champions would gain possession. 2009 NBA Finals - Professional Basketball Predictions

As I write this article, we are two games into the NBA finals and the Los Angeles Lakers lead the series - 2 games to 0 - over Orlando Magic. Last night, game 2 went to the Los Angeles Lakers after Orlando tied the game in the last seconds of the fourth quarter. If I can make my professional basketball predictions, I think Los Angeles Lakers will win the NBA finals, but it's not because I believe Orlando Magic is a bad team. Rather, they I don't believe they have a basic identity/strategy to effectively use all their talent.

Collier Brown Jr., AKA P.J. Brown, currently plays for the NBA's Boston Celtics as a center/power forward. In college Brown played at Louisiana Tech for a period of four years. He left the school as the 2nd all-time leader in blocks with 241 and 5th in rebounds with 1,017. In the 1992 NBA draft he was selected out of Louisiana Tech University by the New Jersey Nets.
