Don't Get Mortgage Advice From "Experts" on the Today Show
by
Damon K Daniels
I suppose pointing out that getting any financial advice in a three-and-a-half minute segment is not a good idea. Don't make decisions about your largest financial responsibility based on "expert" sound bites from a TV show. Ask a mortgage professional to sit down with you and examine your current financial situation. It won't cost a penny and may save you thousands of dollars.

The Today Show: A Shining Example in Termination Failure
by
Stacey Hawley
Ann Curry's abysmal dismissal at the Today show was handled so poorly that the public reacted. And they reacted by switching to GMA. The importance of effectively transitioning employees out of current roles (especially such visible ones) is a leadership lesson that can't be overlooked. Employees should not be publicly or privately humiliated. Being transitioned out of a role should be handled with dignity and respect. The business repercussions can be very costly, and resurfacing after such an error - as The Today Show is attempting to do - is difficult.

Colloidal Silver "Blue Man" Returns To Today Show
by
Steve Barwick
The so-called colloidal silver "blue man," Paul Karason, was back on the Today show this week. He had previously appeared on the show and had promised to allow blood tests to be administered to himself in order to ascertain if his excessive colloidal silver consumption had caused any health or medical problems other than the argyric skin staining. Now the initial blood tests results are in. And guess what? It turns out he is healthy as a horse, in spite of his "blue" appearance.

Be the Star of Your Own Anti-Aging "Today Show"
by
Barbara Morris, R.Ph.
The mental and physical decline that accompanies the aging process - is it inevitable? Or is it a result of cultural influences and how we live? Like perfectly programmed robots we march into old age, fully accepting consensus thinking, archaic tradition, and contemporary cultural norms. It's not necessarily bad - it's the uncritical acceptance of "this is the way it should be" that seals our fate into premature decline.
