The planets are constantly moving, and astrology cycles on a positive - negative rhythm. If the planets are "bad" today, be patient. They will move to a better place in time, and visa versa. Back in April and May, life was difficult under the Uranus-Pluto square. Then, in June and July opportunities were plentiful with the Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune grand trine. And now comes August, and its time to get back to the routine of life. Little challenges will be popping-up throughout the month, and there will be a couple of big problems as Jupiter moves to oppose Pluto then square Uranus around mid-month. We will get back into our grooves and spiritual tests this month, and the Leo Sun will remind us to take a break and enjoy life when we can.

Nova Delphini 2013 Is A Bright New Star

The word "nova" is Latin for "new", and in 2013 a new stellar explosion called a "nova" blasted the night sky with its fabulous fires. Called "Nova Delphinus 2013", the new nova could easily be observed with binoculars--and potentially even the unaided eye--by enchanted star-gazers peering up at it under fortuitously clear, dark, night skies. A nova is a fierce stellar eruption, but it is not as powerful as a supernova, which is the catastrophic explosion heralding the death of a star.

Hospitality Industry Economy: Lodging Recovery Looks Promising For 2013

The GDP growth outlook from the start of summer through August was disappointing, dropping from 2.5 to 1.8. However, one area where predictions for growth were relatively high was in the lodging sector. Results actually exceeded predictions largely due to significantly increased room occupancy and average daily rate (ADR). Both business and leisure travel are improving although group bookings have not fully recovered to pre-recession rates but are also steadily increasing.
