Seamus Heaney. A Brief Introduction
by
Stephen Colbourn
Seamus Heaney was the son of a farmer who worked 50 hectares of land and kept cattle. His mother was an Ulsterwoman who never stopped talking while his father rarely spoke. So, early in life, Seamus Heaney found himself stood between speech and silence. Soon he learned of other divisions in Ireland and the world, and that greater world landed on the doorstep in 1943 when Americans built an airfield by the Heaneys' farm.

Collecting First Editions For Pleasure Or Profit
by
Justin Power
If the idea of making money from a hobby appeals to you, then you should consider collecting first edition books. Let me give you a real-life example. If you had bought a copy of the Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney's first collection of poetry, Death of a Naturalist, in 1999 you would have paid less than £300. Today the same book would sell for at least £1,500. Giving you the double satisfaction of owning a valuable, rare and famous book - and of making a 400% profit in under seven years.

Jewel Gallagher
Speaking on BBC Radio Ulster, First Minister for Northern Ireland referred to, "the sense of excitement at the tremendous opportunity; the city has not tried to hide its past but has used culture to draw people together". Deputy First Minister responded, "This is due to the imagination of Martin Malarkey who, 20 years ago, inspired the city's modern day talents. The Irish Language
by
Emer Lavin
I learned the Irish language at school and in fact I chose it as one of 3 subjects for A level. To some people the Irish language is no longer relevant (too much Peig Sayers at school) but people who live as far afield as America and Canada have an interest in learning Irish as part of their heritage.

How to Write Poetry Books That Sell
by
Irene Watson
Poetry has the ability to move people in ways plain prose seldom does, yet most readers shy away from poetry because they think it is difficult to understand, boring, or not as informative as prose books. But a poetry book can sell if it has a gimmick or hook to entice readers.

USC Vs Arizona State - History - Another PAC-10 Rivalry
by
Peter Mathis
USC football has a history full of national championships and as of 2008, their history is much more illustrious than is Arizona State football history, this is still a rivalry. While many in the country say USC is the only good team in the PAC-10 year after year, and in a sense they are right, every team in the conference sets their sights on knocking USC football down every year, and that's why the season is a tough minefield for USC to navigate every year.

Is It a Good Idea for USC to Pay Lane Kiffin Nearly Four Million Dollars a Year?
by
Sam Obitz
The price you pay reflects the job and what it represents, not just the perceived worth of the person being employed. Sending the right message to current team members as well as potential future team members is also vitally important.

USC Trojans Football Schedule Analysis 2011
by
Tuan Ma
The USC Trojans' football schedule is filled with challenges, but Lane Kiffin has never been a coach to run from a challenge and will have the team prepared to fight in the newly formed Pac-12 south. The only obstacle is that the team is ineligible for any postseason play and a large part of this season will be about playing for school pride.
