Christopher Lane
Top 10 Diane Lane Movies
by
Andy Webb
Although praised by Olivier and finding herself being touted as the next major movie star by several magazines, Lane's career for the most slumped for a few years as she appeared in such unmemorable movies as "National Lampoon's Movie Madness" and "Six Pack". But things picked up again when legendary director cast Diane Lane in his 1983 movies "Rumble Fish" and "The Outsiders" both of which have become cult classics.

Who Was Christopher Pinchbeck - Watch and Clock Maker?
by
Pat Edwards
In the world of clock and watchmaking there were, in fact, two Christopher Pinchbecks: the father and the son. Christopher Pinchbeck I was born in 1670, and died in London in 1732. So far very little is known about his early life, although some say he was born in the Lincolnshire village of that name.

Superman II Movie Review - Starring Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder
by
David Terr
"Superman II", the sequel to "Superman", stars many of the same actors as the original film in their original roles. The film is as entertaining and adventurous as the original. The acting is quite good, particularly that of the three arch-villains from Krypton (Terence Stamp as General Zod, Sarah Douglas as Ursa, and Jack O'Halleran as Non).

Superman Movie Review - Starring Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman, and Marlon Brando
by
David Terr
"Superman" (1978), starring Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder, is a terrific film. It's much better than any of its many sequels. Christopher Reeve is perfect in his role as Superman. Gene Hackman also does an incredible acting job as Lex Luthor, his arch-rival. The story and special effects are also exceptional.

Pretty Woman - How It Could Have Been
by
Andy Webb
Anyone who loves movies will at least have heard of "Pretty Woman" more likely seen it. But "Pretty Woman" could have been a completely different movie with a darker storyline and different stars.

The Dish: Owens Pipes Up Again
by
Christopher Harris
Terrell Owens will never win a championship. Neither will Randy Moss, Barry Bonds, Jeremy Shockey or Kellen Winslow Jr. But today I'd like to talk about Owens, the anti-New-England-Patriot, the man about whom nothing surprises anyone, the Dennis Rodman of the NFL, the man who is positive that the world was created primarily to praise him. You know about his big contract stink with the Niners a couple years back, when his agent forgot to cross some Ts and dot some Is, and Owens accidentally missed free agency. You know how he vetoed a trade to Baltimore by threatening not to report, and you know how he muscled into Philly. You know how this offseason, he stomped and whined like Angelina Jolie standing before a fake-boob detector, because he didn't like the incredibly lucrative contract he signed the year before. But do you know T.O. wasn't pleased that the Eagles didn't stop the game and hold a ceremony in honor of his 100th career receiving touchdown two weeks ago?

Samsung/Radio Shack 500
by
Christopher Harris
Samsung/Radio Shack 500: Good Spellers Make Good Racers Ten minutes before the race in Martinsville last week, I knew my selection of Jimmie Johnson would go for naught. It's not that I had a sudden revelation about J.J.'s short-track abilities. It's not that I reconsidered the quality of the Hendrick Motorsports flat-track program. And it all actually turned out fine, since I'd also selected eventual race-winner Tony Stewart, as well as a correct head-to-head wager. And yet, ten minutes before the race, I knew I'd done wrong choosing the polesitting Johnson.

Bass Pro Shops 500: The Final Four
by
Christopher Harris
And then there were four. Four races left in the 2006 Nextel Cup season, and the way things have shaped up, it's all going to come down to Homestead three weeks from Sunday. Which is pretty cool, and was pretty much the point of changing to the Chase format, so bully for NASCAR.

Shyness, Anxiety
Phobia Sufferers - You Are Not Sick!
by
Mark Shepard
Christopher Lane in his new book, "Shyness: How Normal Behavior Became A Sickness" has the guts to say what we in the NLP community have been saying all along. Anxiety, shyness, and social phobia are not mental diseases.
