The 2008 season may not have given the Green Bay Packers a ticket to the Super Bowl, but the team played with class and spirit during the entire season. The team has had some offsetting moments lately over quarterback woes, but managed to smooth enough ruffled feathers to at least appear cohesive to casual observers.

The Green Bay Packers may not have made it to the Super Bowl in the 2008 season, but they - as always - gave fans an action packed season. Their opening game, last year, was so enticing that the remaining season tickets were gone before you could blink an eye. Even with quarterback woes, the team was able to put their game faces on and move forward as if nothing was going on. With these issues out of the way, the Green Bay Packers should be able to storm the field, in 2009, and be one of a handful of teams that - at the very least - makes it to the playoffs.

If you know a Green Bay Packers fan then you know there are no more loyal (or passionate) football fans in world. Packers fans can be a bit over the top when it comes to football. First of all, Green Bay is a city of 250,000 people. Almost everyone in the city knows at least one person who is a season ticket holder (and by the way, there is a waiting list of over 100,000 fans wanting to be such ticket holders). Next, tailgating starts at 7 a.m. Yes, you read that right, 7 a.m. Packer fans don't just cook the traditional Wisconsin Bratwursts, they start with ham and eggs for breakfast and even use the grill. The early morning drink is the Bloody Mary, but only until 8 a.m. when the Miller Lite starts flowing. Then come the brats and just about anything else you can imagine.
