Government Figures on Rising Health Care Costs Unrealistic
by
Lance Winslow
The Obama Administration promised us that ObamaCare would lower Medicare costs, provide health insurance for everyone, and fix our health care system in the United States. Obviously, it has done none of that, and we see that health care costs have increased 8% per year since Obama took office, with no end in sight on that graph. There was an interesting article recently in Positive Futurist Online News titled; "Medical advances predicted for next 20 years will lower health costs," written by Dick Pelletier which noted; "The US Congressional Budget Office predicts health spending will rise from...

CRUSADER Vs. CALIPHATE...Bush Doctrine: Destroy the Heretics of Islam
by
Doug Krieger
The "green menace" has replaced the "red menace" . . . and a green veil descends from the Pillars of Hercules in the Atlantic to the Indonesian Archipelago in the Pacific-A Radical Islamic Empire: The Caliphate! Ours is a war against an implacable foe bent on unmitigated evil, unconscionable fanaticism, murder, and deceit-"We will never back down, never give in, and never accept anything less than complete victory . . . there is no peace without victory . . . we will keep our nerve and we will win that victory!" President George W. Bush has, at the National Endowment for Democracy, once and for all, defined the "Bush Doctrine" which has emerged from its post-Crusader-9/11 beginnings to its embellishments and democratic initiatives, including "religious freedom" in the Middle East.

Although Belgium has been inhabited for many thousands of years, its written history begins in 54 BC when Julius Caesar conquered the area as part of his campaigns in Gaul, as described in his Commentaries on the Gallic War (Latin: Commentarii de Bello Gallico). As a result, for the next several centuries, Belgium and the surrounding areas were incorporated in the Roman Empire as the province of Gallia Belgica.

Will China and Or India Over Take the USA As a Super Power Or Economic GDP Powerhouse?

Many anti-American folks in foreign countries believe that America is on its last leg as a great empire, and they believe that all great empires rise and fall and it is time for America to fall. I hate to burst their bubble, but there is no way in hell that this great nation, the one I live in is going to fall. In fact, as an American, I realize there are 300 million people here who believe in this great nation, and also realize that it is the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind.

Let me begin by saying that God is never far from any communication that comes from a righteous heart and a desire to minister truth. God needs these people and waits for those capable of speaking God's truths to evolve.

PowerPoint: Adding Transitions to a Presentation
by
Dawn Bjork Buzbee
What are slide transitions? Rather than animating elements within an individual slide, a transition in a PowerPoint presentation is simply animation between slides. Transitions add movement (and sometimes sound) between the end of one slide and the start of the next slide. When presentation transitions are used well, they signal a change to the audience and smoothly switch to the next slide.

A Promise Fulfilled - When Transits Echo Natal Aspects
by
Donna Cunningham
Each natal aspect contains a host of promises, since even the most difficult of combinations has gifts to bestow once we learn to use the energies of the two planets well. Throughout our lives, transits to a natal aspect represent windows of time when we are challenged to make changes in how we are using that aspect. If we are wise, we gradually learn to let go of self-defeating ways of expressing the energies of those planets and, instead, to capitalize on their strengths. Never is that more true than during the periods when the natal aspect is echoed by the transit - that is, when one of the planets involved natally is the transiting planet as well.

Network Marketing Tips: 3 Surefire Ways to Create Your Own Luck
by
Vince Giorno
You see, in my mind, we create our own luck. Luck does not just happen to anyone. I feel that we put ourselves in a position to become lucky by our own actions. This topic brought me to thinking of the network marketing industry. I have heard so many complaints from Multi Level Marketing (MLM) representatives about how lucky certain people are in the industry. That guy is so lucky that he found so and so. What a crock! Those people who have become successful in their network marketing businesses created their own luck. It was not a fluke that they found great people with whom to work. This belief undermines their ability. They positioned themselves to attract quality people. They possessed the right mindset and knowledge as leaders and in turn found like-minded individuals to propel their MLM business. You too can create your own luck! Here are 3 surefire ways that can get luck on your side to grow your MLM business.

by

Catching Up With The NHL
by

I live in Canada, so I am surrounded by a skewed awareness of the NHL. It is a condition of citizenship here that you are able to discuss the power play woes of teams, the playoff prospects of the nearest squad, and the injuries that are keeping Canadian stars out of action, even if you are far from a hockey fan. I know, and frankly I'm thankful, that the rest of the world isn't obsessed with hockey like my fellow Canadians are.

What NHL Autographed Memorabilia You Can Find and Get
by
Joseph Baylon
The National Hockey League is home to heroes and warriors aplenty. With each swerve and drive of the puck through the ice, sticks clash, players dash, and tempers fly. With each score, a player is hailed as a savior and hero. With each miss of the goalkeeper, groans and screams can be heard for miles. Such is the appeal of hockey, whether it is watched in its full glory live, or on television, where viewers can alternate between tearing their hair out and jumping out of their seats.

During the spring of the year when lent is at hand and Easter is a mere 10 weeks away pancakes are on many peoples minds. The Tuesday before lent begins is traditionally pancake Tuesday. The origins of pancake Tuesday go back to when eggs, sugar and butter were not allowed during lent so people needed to use up these ingredients before lent began. Since eggs, sugar and butter are primary ingredients in pancakes we now have pancake Tuesday.

Saint Patrick
by
Krista Delle Femine
Patricius Magonus Sucatas (also spelled Patercuis, or Patritius) was born in Britain sometime around 400 AD, when the country, like most countries, was under Roman rule. Though his father was a deacon, Patrick was not a particularly religious boy, and his heroes were more likely to be Roman notables than members of the church. Not much is known of his child hood or his family life, but he is likely to have enjoyed what Americans would consider a mid, to upper-middle class lifestyle, being that his father, Calpornius, besides being a deacon also held a government job in some sort of an official capacity; his family was able to enjoy a vacation home in the country.

On just two dates in the year, the sun appears to 'roll' down the shoulder of Croagh Patrick, Westport's holy mountain. This amazing spectacle can only be viewed from an ancient rock known as the Boheh Stone which guests on go!trekking! holidays will have passed on the 1 hour trek. If you're planning a trip to Westport soon, make it the weekend of Saturday 18th April, the next date the rolling sun performance will be visible.

When is St Patrick's Day this year?
by
Robert K Carpenter
If you said, March 17th, like it always is - you'd be technically wrong. Officially - well according to the Catholic Church anyway, St Patrick's Day 2008 has been moved to March 15th to avoid the second day of Holy Week. However you'll be pleased to know that this won't affect the usual festivities and the 17th is still a national holiday in Ireland.

Peritoneal Mesothelioma Survival Rates
by
Jason Gluckman
Peritoneal Mesothelioma is a cancer of the abdomen lining caused due to prolonged exposure to asbestos. Thousands of lawsuits are handled every year dealing with the issue of peritoneal mesothelioma and its effects. Symptoms of mesothelioma may not appear until 30 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos. Shortness of breath and pain in the chest due to an accumulation of fluid in the pleural space are often symptoms of pleural mesothelioma Other symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include loss of appetite, nausea, and abdominal swelling. Fluid commonly accumulates in the abdominal cavity causing the swelling and pain. The symptoms can become quite serous over time, as the swelling will exert great force on surrounding organs and lead to great pain.
