Blurred Lines
Car Safety - The Blurring Line Between the iPhone and iPod
by
Marie Coles
Since December the 1st 2003, it has been illegal to use a hand held mobile and drive at the same time. The law goes onto be more precise t by declaring it is illegal to use a hand held device that is used for reasons for written and verbal communication. Although not illegal, hands free has been even declared as an distraction. But how does this relate to the Iphone and Ipod? Could these blur the lines of the law, due to their interactive nature which could be potentially distracting and hazardous?!

Harry Potter Books - The Blurred Line Between Reality and Fantasy
by
Evie Lampard
Because my conservative religion prohibits the practice of witchcraft I promised myself to read the first Harry Potter book to see if I can recommend it to my child. This was because the main character of this book is a practicing sorcerer/warlock and I would have a problem recommending it to my daughter.

Retailers Blur Line Between Online, Offline Shopping Experiences
by
Ann All
The line between offline and online retail experiences continues to blur, based on a couple of recent product announcements. Last summer I wrote an article about the the efforts of retailers with both an online and offline presence to create a "clicks-and-bricks" strategy that would offer consumers a similar shopping experience, whether it occurred in a virtual or a physical store. Several retailers were letting folks who bought products online pick up their purchases at physical stores, for example.

Technology Blurs Lines Between TV and Computers
by
Emily Sanderson
In the future, the home entertainment center will probably be replaced by more of a home information center. The home information center would blend access to information and entertainment in such a way as to make it possible to access movies, listen to music, make video phone calls or normal phone calls, play video games, surf the Internet, enjoy virtual reality, read and answer email, and utilize a variety of productivity software programs all from the same room in your home. In short, the home computer and the home entertainment system will become one.

Are the Lines Blurred?
by
Oliver Tams
A recent study of information technology workers (Melissa Grigg University of Sydney) showed that sending work emails first thing in the morning or last thing at night was no longer considered work. Huh? We talk about lines being blurred but I'm not sure there are any lines left to blur. When was the last time you said no, to doing something outside of work hours?

Watch Out, Diabetes Can Cause Blurred Vision or Even Blindness
by
Aron Wallad
Here we are in the age of speed. We want everything fast. Our food (and that could be another problem), our work and searching on the internet. Now where am I going with an article about blurred vision? With diabetes reaching epidemic proportions, more and more people like you and me are losing part or all of our sight.

The Marketing Blur - Commercial Marketing and All The Goodness That Has Come From The Internet
by
Daniel Massicotte
The art of seeking and maintaining customer engagement could have many goals. If it's primarily focused on social good it's referred to as social marketing. In commercial marketing the primary consideration is financial, though it may be through social goodness or not.

The Elements of Line Drawing
by
Hugh Quentin
Lines and their characteristics make or break a drawing-therefore you either have a masterpiece or a doodle. The basic purpose of a line drawing is to describe the form with the use of varied lines in thickness, lost and found edges, to give direction, flow, volume and space as well as hatching or shading effects to give depth (values - lightness or darkness.)
