Jimmy Fallon - Not Your Typical Late Night Talk Show
by
Abel Alexander
I have always liked Jimmy Fallon. I never thought of him as the best stand-up comedian or comedian, for that matter, but he makes me laugh or amuses me often enough to not tune out when he is on. Others are turned off by his seemingly too ordinary stance. He breaks up during sketches and too much of a hipster when it comes to his looks.

Jimmy Fallon: King of Late-Night
by
Defoncia Herndon
The coolest ever, exciting, intoxicating, these are just a few of the phrases and words used to describe Jimmy Fallon, and his late night show. When I was a kid, going to school with a future rap star, Pastor Troy in college, I used to love to listen to Erkyah Badu and the Roots's song, "You got me," and dance the whole way across campus. Even though I was on the basketball team and a good rapper, I loved to dance.

Best and Worst Commercials of 2006
by
Heather Loftiss
We have reached the halfway point in the 2006 season of commercials. We kicked the season off with the studs and duds of the Superbowl commercials where we all loved the FedEx cavemen and the Budweiser Streaker. But this season also features the duds: the Nationwide Fabio parody, the Diet Pepsi and Sierra Mist ads, the H3 Little Monster, the Sprint commercials, and the annoying Taco Bell guy. Moving into the second half of 2006, the ads have somewhat rebounded with plenty of studs; but there are also plenty of duds still out there. Here's your Best and Worst of 2006.

Top 10 Restaurants to Dine at When Visiting New York - Written by a New Yorker
by
Kathy Kuo
Usually out of towners when they think of New York dining, they think of very lavish, expensive food with interior decor designed by well known star-chitects with even more well known celebrity chef's endorsing the restaurant name.
While those restaurants (Olive, Spice Market, or all the Jean Georges for that matter) are fantastic restaurants- they should be, because outrageous sums of money are dedicated to their marketing, and management team, where the taste, quality of food is just one of the important factor in the well oiled machine that is the culinary food experience.
However, I want to highlight some ...

Marketing to Actual People
by
Christopher Salisbury
A lot of companies get mixed up in the whole dark and dreary world of search engine marketing focusing primarily on making Google, Bing or Yahoo happy. All of their resources are thrown into better placement on the search engines, a race very similar to the old days where companies added multiple letter "A's" to their business names just to be closer to first in their category in the phone book.

Social Media at the Emmy's
by
Ehud J Furman
As we've seen before, there is immense power to strengthen your brand and reputation by holding a virtual press conference. Now, entertainment is taking social media and virtual outreach to a new level by making the Emmy Awards social. As Mashable reported earlier this week, the 2010 Emmy Awards will be equipped with Twitter, UStream and yfrog to bring a virtual real-time experience to audiences world-wide. But what are the elements that can make this event a success?

Social Media Blackout at US College Comes to a Close
by
Harvey McEwan
When it was made clear that the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology was intent on creating a virtual blackout of Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and instant messenger, many were sceptical of the credibility of the social experiment. As the experiment ends however, it is clear that the ban has provoked an assessment into the effects of social networking on our lives.
