How Long Can Lee Westwood Stay at the Top?
by
Phil P Thomas
In his first tournament as number one golfer in the world and having played only one tournament in three months due to his calf injury, Lee Westwood has to be satisfied finishing one shot behind Francesco Molinari to take second position at the HSBC World Golf Championship in China. Although Lee never quite managed to catch Molinari who led throughout the tournament, he definitely consolidated his number one in the world position.

After 281 consecutive weeks, all but 32 weeks since the 1999 PGA Championship, of being the World's number 1 Golfer, the English Golfer, Lee Westwood, has taken over the number 1 spot... for now. The HSBC Champions starts Thursday at Sheshan International and it's the only World Golf Championship that Tiger hasn't won.

Return to Form - Westwood, Europe Can Resume Whining That Started in 1999
by
Brandon R Underwood
Ryder Cup losers for the first time since 1999, the Europeans can go back to what they do best - whining about the manner in which the Americans and their fans behaved themselves in victory. When Justin Leonard, whose last appearance in the Ryder Cup was '99, holed an improbable 45-foot putt that virtually sealed a historic comeback for the U.S. at the Country Club in Brookline it sparked an impromptu celebration by the American team.

What Happened to Westwood?
by
Paul Lyons
Up until a few years ago, Westwood was the place to go if I wanted to treat myself. When I first moved to L.A, I wanted to find a place where I can walk around...look at shops, etc...Something, perhaps, to remind me of New York City.

Who Is the No 1 Golfer?
by
Chris Pascall
In November 2010 Lee Westwood became the No. 1 golfer in the world. What a brilliant achievement! How good must it feel to be the best in the world? After an impressive amateur career playing for England at several levels in the Boys, Youths and Senior teams from 1988 -1993, and winning the British Youths Championship in 1993, Lee turned professional. After six years on the European Tour, in 2000 he was top of the Order of merit - the No. 1 golfer on the European Tour. Another great achievement in such a short time.

Covert Golf Hypnosis and Secret Plans at the Dubai World Championships
by
Andrew Fogg
Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy played amazing golf at the Dubai World Championships. However, their phenomenal play took second place for me as a golf psychologist, given the amount of extreme golf psychology and covert golf hypnosis flying about. Firstly there was Lee Westwood's much talked about "Secret Plan."
