Family Parking
by
Dirk Britton
Having a three year old and being confined to a wheelchair should not be compared. While I am sure that dragging a small child and an infant along to do grocery shopping feels like a handicap, it is not. Deciding to have a family does not make you handicapped, and does not come with any "front of the line" privileges.

Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Retirement
by
Hope Mason
Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and others are not. Some people's zero interest credit cards stayed at zero interest for years while other people's converted into thirty percent interest after using the card two times. Some people's kids paid them back for all the money they lent them to go to college and others didn't. I am in the latter lot of unlucky retirees and therefore I must obey the eleventh commandment which is "Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Retirement."

A Little Taste of Paris
by
Evelyn Chiu
Last month, Toronto was graced with the grand opening of McEwan, a European style gourmet grocery store located in the heart of Shops at Don Mills. Unlike other supermarkets we are familiar with in North America, McExan offers a gateway to great food without all the hassles and prep-time needed in the kitchen. Inspirations of this restaurant-style grocery store came from European grocers often found in Paris or Milan. Here is my experience at McEwan and my little taste of Paris.
