Only God Forgives

Only God Forgives
The Prodigal Son Says, "God Forgives" - How Do We Know God? It's By Knowing the Love of God
by
Roger Himes
The Prodigal Son tells us that 'God forgives.' If we don't know the forgiveness and love of God in a daily, experiential way, we have difficulty both loving and forgiving. But knowingGod's love and forgiveness empowers us to live beyond all we can think or imagine.

Sure, God Forgives Our Sins, But Does He Forget Them?
by
Gary Speer
Christians firmly believe that God forgives our sins, not because of our merits or reform efforts, but because of Christ. But do we truly believe that God also puts those sins aside -- that he forgets them?

How Can a Perfectly Just God Forgive Wicked Sinners?
by
Collin D Trenery
People love to talk about the forgiveness of God without fully understanding exactly what takes place when God forgives a person. After all, we must remember that God is perfectly Just and the Bible says that God will not let the wicket go unpunished according to Proverbs chapter 11 verse 21. In addition, we have to recognize that the Bible teaches that "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" and that "There are none righteous, no not one" as the book of Romans makes so plainly clear.

Forgiveness and Bitterness
by
Dave McKay
The word "forgiveness" is often used in the context of not being bitter with someone, even if that person has never apologised for what they did. Personally, I think that this causes a lot of confusion on both sides, and that it is a reflection of fuzzy thinking with regard to the grace of God.

What If God is Willing to Forgive All Your Sins?
by
Howard E Wright
If God is willing to forgive all your sins, He is more gracious than we could ever be. It is very hard for some of us to forgive people when they have wronged us. This is not true with God. He will forgive all your sins. Furthermore, once God forgives you, He never brings it up to you again. He totally forgets about it. What do you think? I would say this is wonderfully good news! I trust this article will be a great inspiration to you!

Can God Really Forgive My Worst Sins?
by
Nathaniel Lewis
The short answer is yes, and I will give you the how and why. Many people in and outside the church are burdened down with the quilt of some sin they committed recently or some time ago. We are, our own worst enemy when it comes to forgiveness, we are slow to forgive ourselves for what we did and some never forgive themselves.

God of 1st, 2nd and 490th Chance
by
Steve Wickham
Many people think Christianity is about judgment, rules, and condemnation, for instance of minority groups, and individuals, not following the Christian value. This is a heinous misrepresentation.

Suicide and God
by
Jen Vann
I was searching for keywords yesterday trying to find out how to get found by Google. I can't even remember the topic or keyword phrase that led me to this subject but I knew it had a need to be addressed. I wondered, how do you sell a person anything that is at a point in life where they want to commit suicide?

The LORD Says, I Am God - There Is No Other
by
Steve Wickham
The LORD says: "I am God; there is no other." What we do with this fact is up to us. But it is the most important decision - to follow Jesus or not - we will ever make.
