The Cuckoo - A Fostered Bird
by
Steve Majesky
We see birds as hardworking doting parents, yet there are species that pawn their young off onto host parents. Variates of the cuckoo bird fall into these parasitic groups, the Common Cuckoo. The sound of the cuckoo clock will never be the same.

The Origin of the Cuckoo Clock
by
Steave Phill
A cuckoo clock is typically pendulum driven and chimes hourly with the call of the common cuckoo. The cuckoo clock is traditionally designed as a "chalet". The traditionally styled ones have a wooden case which is decorated with carved leaves and animals. When the clock strikes a small trap door opens and a bird emerges.

The Cuckoo Trail - Walking Or Cycling in East Sussex
by
Tom Sangers
The Cuckoo Trail in East Sussex goes between Eridge and Polegate, and, like many cycle routes around the UK, follows the route of an old railway line that closed down. Another instance of this happening is the Tarka Trail in Devon. The route originally opened in the 1880s, and it was whilst trains still ran upon the tracks that it became known as the Cuckoo Line.

The Cuckoo Con or Clever?
by
Roger Crates
Of course they say money is the root of all evil, add to that power and his little brother prestige which is why they want the money in the first place. How many times have you seen the wailing and gnashing of teeth as the anguished investor looks down the barrel of the TV journalist's camera outside some city building as they wail about how the Conman did me wrong, "he offered me 500% return in three weeks and it was all perfectly legal" as the journalist looks for the the opportunity to do some hard nosed reporting as she chases the bad guy up the street as he evades HIS Porsche (with iyaa sound).

Michael Berryman of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Can Be Scared With You
by
Chris Grosso
Michael Berryman may not be a household name, but once you put a face to the name chances are you'll be familiar with some of his vast repertoire of work. Michael has appeared in over 30 films including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Hills Have Eyes, Weird Science (a personal 80′s favorite of mine)
The Devil's Rejects. Michael usually plays characters who are one twist short of a slinky, but off-screen, he is very serene, and a sincerely nice guy. He was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to discuss organic farming, a few of his upcoming projects, and why we should think twice about the way we treat ourselves, each other, and the planet as a whole.
