Woody Allen: Innovative Comedian, Screenwriter, Director, And A Cultural Icon In His Own Time
by
Frederick B. Fox, Jr.
Woody Allen is an extraordinarily talented American artist, who has excelled as a playwright, comedian, jazz musician, author, screenwriter, director and actor. He created a unique style of stand-up comedy, by developing a nervous, neurotic, intellectual persona, which transformed the comedy monologue genre, and has become highly influential.

The article is an informative guide and a biographical account about all the important aspects and events in Woody Allen's life. Between takes he remains near the set accessible to cast and crew. Dream Movie Casting - Woody Allen's 'Spider-Man'
by
Marty Mason
Woody Allen and Spider-man. While the two may seem to belong to different worlds, they actually have much in common. For instance, Woody's films are infatuated with New York City, and what is Spider-man if not the patron saint of New York?

Review of Play It Again, Sam - Starring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton
by
David Terr
"Play It Again, Sam" is a hilarious film starring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton. As always, Woody's acting and humor is superb in this film. The movie is a clever sort of spoof of Casablanca, with Jerry Lacy playing the role of Humphrey Bogart's ghost, who guides the under-confident recent divorce Allen Felix, played by Woody, through romance. The movie ends with a scene spoofing the famous scene at the end of Casablanca outside the airport in which Rick bids Ilsa and her husband farewell.

Woody Allen Should be Our Spiritual Guide (and Perhaps America's Ambassador to the Middle East)
by
Allan MacDonald
Imagine if Woody Allen were a cleric, a spiritual advisor, a world leader. I wonder if there would be such religious strife in the world, such intolerance, such zealotry? I also imagine how nice and cool our apartments would be.

The Unauthorized Secret History of Woody Allen: Part One
by
Dan Lobots
Woody Allen was conceived (not created) in a mushroom patch by two semi-deranged semioticians trying to invent an alternative to toothpaste. That one of his legs (it's not exactly certain which one) carries a limp to this day is harrowing testimony to his coming into being in a world of Brooklyn Jewish Delicatessen. Rabbi Ben Zvi Gefelter who was present pronounced the "limp" a mitzvah or conversely considered it as a possible inclination towards hooved animals.
