The Psychology Behind Riots and Looting: The August 2011 English Riots
by
Brian Shields Scott
Introduction Recent news of widespread rioting and looting in several English cities has shocked most people both in England and the rest of the world.
One widely reported video on TV was particularly disturbing and perhaps even more distressful to Asians, was that of the young Malaysian student, Ashraf Rossli, being helped up by several rioters only to be subsequently robbed by these same persons. The complete slow and methodical way these perpetrators opened his packsack and stole what they wanted revealed a complete lack of empathy for their victim.

Shop Insurance And Reading The Riot Act To Your Business Insurance Company
by
Dave Healey
Having watched in horror at the riots and civil disturbances that spread like wildfire out of control across many British cities in 2011, many businessmen are left wondering if their premises and business property is covered under their existing business insurance policies. Nearly all commercial property and business insurance policies designed for the retail trade and shopkeepers will contain provisions under the special perils section for material damage and loss, due to riot or civil commotion. This includes all shop insurance packages.

Riot Participation
by
Karen Whitehurst
The Bill of Rights clearly spells out Americans' rights to peacefully assemble and protest but it doesn't give people the freedom to do whatever they want if it could potentially harm others. Many people abuse their First Amendment rights when they participate in riots expressing his or her opinions or beliefs and they can end up in jail for it.

Riot Grrrl fashion shaped and influenced young women's fashion from the 1990s to the present day. Although there was no "uniform" in this movement, certain tendencies and trends moved from the subculture into the mainstream.

Emergency Drills - Practicing What to Do In Case of a Riot
by
Mike Kuykendall
With the economic situation looking very dire in 2013 and the potential for hyperinflation and economic collapse making riots and civil unrest a reality, knowing what to do to stay safe becomes very important. Some scenarios project riots due to the government's inability to pay the more than 50% of Americans receiving entitlement checks each month. Other scenarios look at hyperinflation as the trigger that causes people to take to the streets en masse.

Warrior Lacrosse Gloves: Riot Review

Liz Tyson
Occasionally, something unforeseen occurs which is what I really like about reviewing lacrosse gear. Occasionally you find a bit of equipment that is actually top notch and you don't have any expectations of it at all. And a good illustration of this are the Warrior Riot lacrosse gloves.
