Eliminating World Cup Qualifiers
by
Alex Baker
Another round of World Cup qualifiers played out yesterday with some of the world's brightest and talented looking to book a spot in South Africa. Of course, when the inevitable international break does actually arise, it generally ignites a hot debate that pits country against club. Now this post does not intend to catalyze the debate necessarily-although, I will say that club foots the exorbitant bill contemporary soccer players usually create-because I offer, instead, an alternative that could perhaps alleviate a considerable amount of animosity existing between the two sides.

England Beat San Marino 8-0 in World Cup Qualifier
by
Steve Goodwin
England secured their biggest victory in over twenty five years when they beat San Marino 8-0 in what can only be described as a mismatch of epic proportions. England dominated over 80% of the possession, recording 27 attempts on target and 15 corners, the one sided encounter could well have seen England take the score into double figures.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria Break the World Cup Jinx
by
Clement Sadjere
The Super Eagles of Nigeria qualified to represent Africa in the 1994 FIFA World Cup after several futile efforts. The team which was captained by Stephen Keshi remains one of the best the country has ever produced.

England World Cup 2010 Qualification
by
Steve Brig
I know the Euro 2008 finals tournament hasn't even started yet and unfortunately England will not be there as we failed along with all other home nations to qualify. But at least we have the World Cup 2010 qualifiers to look forward too with the hope that England can qualify from their group and go forward to South Africa. In recent years it has been a turgid affair following England.

This FIFA World Cup Season, Dive Into the Cup of Joy!
by
Shilpika P
Football fanatics have a lot of passion for the game. They find the most unique way to express their support of their teams. This includes dawning face paint of the country they support. This is much like the tribesmen who dawn war paint to intimidate their opponents. Other fans get their hands on exclusive team jerseys and merchandise of their favourite teams.
